12,500 Miles! Marathon of Health reaches the Pacific
WHAT A JOURNEY! The Chicoine family began it all by dipping their toes in the Pacific Ocean off Vancouver, BC, last May, Then they ran across Canada, dipped those toes in the frigid Atlantic off St. John’s, Newfoundland, and Maine, USA, and headed south and west across the United States. At noon tomorrow, the eight Chicoines will dip those toes in the Pacific Ocean at Dana Point, California, the finishing point of this fantastic Marathon of Health adventure that has brought heightened awareness of the Wellness Revolution across the North American continent. Raising the bar! The Chicoines are not satisfied with doing what no family has ever done… running a 15,000 mile circuit of North America in seven months to highlight the importance of proper nutrition and exercise for people of all ages. Now the 8 Chicoines have decided to attempt a record-breaking sprint from Dallas to Los Angeles – 1400 miles – in TEN DAYS! In the media!
